Description
This peak contains and incredible caves network, a result of erosion after the ridge emerged from the sea. After an interpretive two hours hike in the transitional tropical dry-humid forest observing the local wildlife, local guides will help you to descend 40 meters into the ¨Terciopelo¨ Cave, with its unique formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
Barra Honda National Park presents a wide flora and fauna due to its altitude and proximity to Nicoya Gulf.
Also will visit ¨El Mirador¨ which is Barra Honda´s summit, an extraordinary lookout point with fantastic views of the island fill the Nicoya Gulf!
